Welcome to Gwen Inglis Aesthetics. By booking an appointment or receiving treatment, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Appointments & Bookings
All appointments must be booked in advance
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment
Appointment times include consultation, treatment, and aftercare discussion
Please arrive on time — late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation
3. Deposits & Payments
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred with appropriate notice
Full payment is due at the time of treatment unless agreed otherwise
Prices are subject to change but will be confirmed at the time of booking
4. Cancellation & Late Policy
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule:
Less than 48 hours’ notice → deposit may be forfeited
Failure to attend (no-show) → full deposit retained
Repeated cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings
5. Consultations
A full consultation is required before treatment
You must provide accurate and complete medical history
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is not clinically appropriate or safe
6. Treatment Results & Expectations
Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed
Some treatments may require multiple sessions
You will be informed of risks, benefits, and expected outcomes before treatment
It is your responsibility to follow all aftercare advice
7. Medical Suitability
You must inform us of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or previous complications
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect your treatment and results
We may require GP or specialist approval before proceeding
8. Complications & Aftercare
All procedures carry some degree of risk
You will receive full aftercare instructions
You must contact us promptly if you experience any concerns or complications
Follow-up appointments may be required
9. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for completed treatments
If you are dissatisfied, we encourage you to contact us so we can assess and offer appropriate support
Corrective treatment may be offered at our discretion
10. Complaints
We aim to provide excellent service at all times. If you are unhappy:
Please contact us directly to resolve the issue promptly
Complaints will be handled in line with our Complaints Policy
You may escalate concerns to Healthcare Improvement Scotland if required
11. Duty of Candour
We adhere to our professional Duty of Candour:
We will be open and honest if something goes wrong
We will provide a clear explanation and appropriate support
A sincere apology will always be offered where appropriate
12. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR
All medical and personal information is kept confidential
Information is only shared where required for your care or by law
13. Gift Vouchers (if applicable)
Valid for a specified period (usually 6–12 months)
Non-refundable and non-transferable
Cannot be exchanged for cash

We reserve the right to update content, pricing, or policies at any time
Unauthorised use of website content is prohibited
15. Liability
Treatments are carried out with professional care and skill
