Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely caring. I would never go anywhere else.

Gwen Inglis is the founder and lead practitioner of Gwen Inglis Aesthetic (GIA), an established medical aesthetics clinic founded in 2010 in the heart of Edinburgh.

The clinic operates within a Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) registered environment, reflecting a commitment to the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and care.

A registered nurse since 1994, Gwen began her career within the Surgical Directorate at NHS Lothian, progressing from Registered General Nurse (RGN) to Charge Nurse (CN). This extensive NHS background provide a strong clinical foundation in patient assessment, safety, and procedural care—principles that remain central to her aesthetic practice today.

Gwen transitioned into aesthetic medicine in 2010 and has since developed advanced expertise in non-surgical treatments. As a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber (INP), she is able to assess, diagnose, and prescribe treatments safely and appropriately following a thorough consultation.

She is a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and an accredited practitioner with Save Face, a government-approved register of aesthetic practitioners. Gwen is also a member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN), reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional standards, education, and ethical practice.

Gwen’s approach to aesthetics is grounded in medical integrity, patient safety, and achieving natural, refined results. Each patient undergoes a comprehensive consultation to ensure treatments are tailored to their individual needs, with a focus on enhancing natural features, maintaining facial harmony, and supporting long-term skin health.

At GIA, the aim is to provide safe, evidence-based aesthetic treatments within a professional clinical setting—helping patients feel confident while maintaining a natural, refreshed appearance.

After years struggling with Migraines, the treatment has been life changing. The consultation was thorough and I felt completely confident in the care received.
